Afirmând că Predica de pe munte e un standard imposibil de atins, Satan îl alege pe Steele ca să-si demonstreze afirmatia în acest pariu cu Atotputernicul. Adevăratul test se dă în viata lui Michael atunci când este pus la încercare să se vadă dacă poate să trăiască adevărurile din Matei 5, 6 si 7 în ultimile zile dinaintea decernării premiilor.
